Good morning friends!!
WE HIT *100,000* TOTAL ITEMS GIVEN AWAY this week! Woo! After only 18 months doing our thing… Wild…
To put this into perspective, it took us over two months to give away a total of 1,000 items when we first launched, then about a year to hit a total of 50,000, and now 6 months later we’re at 100,000 (!!). It’s been a fun – and tiring – road, lol…
We’ve also crossed a number of other milestones as I look at my trusty spreadsheet:
- We’ve done over 180 total pop-ups
- Over 2,000 individuals and companies have donated something (y’all are the best!)
- And we’ve given over 50,000 items on top of everything else to other local partners and non-profits (leftover items we don’t end up using).
So really we’ve given out over *150,000* items if we’re looking at the entire story. And by “we” I mean “ALL OF YOU” as it’s all your stuff we’ve put back into the community that’s full of love!! My extra clothes were drained after week two 😂
So thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being such a big part of this project this past year and a half, and can’t wait to see what the next 18 months will hold : ) Amazing what we can accomplish when we all come together and *care* enough!

*Artwork up top by students of North Stafford High. They had a competition last year to come up with different designs we could add up on Walter (before we painted him), and this was one of them. They really put their all into it!!
