Our New Weekly Mini Pop-Up!

One of my favorite things about this project is figuring out how to give away the most clothes in the most efficiently way possible. And this new collaboration with Fredericksburg United Methodist Church is a beautiful example of this!

They reached out a couple of weeks ago asking if we’d be interested in adding clothes to their weekly food distribution, and while at first I wasn’t sure if we could pull it off logistically, it turns out their main food pantry day happens to land on the same day we’re already set up down the street (Tuesday)! And starts an hour after we end – perfect 🙂

So now, we just truck over all our remaining clothes from Tuesday’s pop-up right on over to FUMC (along with some other goodies specifically saved for them) which then gets in front of a brand new group of people to have access to!

We’ve already done two so far and it’s been awesome. And easy! It takes about 30 minutes to offload and set up (I only put out three racks and a table of goodies vs the *entire* set up) and then the food pantry volunteers take it from there and I come back the next morning to pick up any remaining clothes. So if you’re in the area from 2pm-4pm Tuesdays stop by and check it out!
