Our first site did the trick and got us off the ground, but boy was it hacked together in the end… It was literally just a “coming soon” page that I kept updating until it became too much (I was coding up new pages from scratch!).
But now we have a refreshed version inspired by the original – AND – it’s full of pretty pictures and love 🙂 We even have a *Donate* page now – imagine that?
Poke around when you get a second! I know my mom will be proud – I’m finally using my college degree in media arts ; ) (Shout out to James Madison!) Although I’ll admit I cheated a little and used Claude to help me tighten it up… AI for the win!
Thanks for being along the ride with me!! Almost crossing 5,000 pieces of clothes and essentials given out now – wild. And to think we’re still only 2-3 mos into this thing.
