I woke up this morning to a most unexpected but joyous email! Fellow fan of The Closet – Rachael – used AI to make us a theme song to rock out to! Haha… Did not see that one coming but it is fabulous and has had my head rocking to it all morning long 🙂

“FXBG Free Closet” Lyrics:
Cruisin’ down the block with Walter, that’s the van
X got the keys, spreadin’ love, that’s the plan
No questions asked, just open hands
Fredericksburg’s heart right here in the land
****
From February rain to the sunshine beat
85K pieces given out on the street
Threads for the many, respect for all
FXBG Free Closet, hear the call
****
Available to all, with love in the air
No limits, no forms, just care everywhere
Walter’s rollin’, X is on the scene
In the city where kindness reigns supreme
****
Musical graffiti painted on the walls
Punk beats and hip-hop in the halls
Clothes and essentials, free like the vibe
No judgment here, just good tribe pride
****
From winter chills to the summer heat
We share, we care, making ends meet
A movement breaking through every block
FXBG Free Closet, hear the rock
****
Available to all, with love in the air
No limits, no forms, just care everywhere
Walter’s rollin’, X is on the scene
In the city where kindness reigns supreme
****
Paint the city with hearts, not hate
Give what you can and take what’s great
Behind every door, a story told
A community strong, bold and gold
****
Available to all, with love in the air
No limits, no forms, just care everywhere
Walter’s rollin’, X is on the scene
In the city where kindness reigns supreme
****
So when you see that van, know it’s more than clothes
It’s hope in motion, and the love just grows
FXBG Free Closet, shout it loud and free
A family for all, in community.
