Every now and then we get asked for specific items that we don’t typically carry, but would love to pass on if they came our way. If you happen to have one of these you’re no longer using, please let me know! 🙂

Items We’re Looking For:

  • Electric Wheelchair (that can hold 250 lbs – important) – for a poor guy who recently had a stroke rendering his whole left side unusable, who just can’t get around with a regular wheelchair (“I literally go in circles – it’s maddening!”). Recently out of prison and living out of a hotel room, it’s all he wants in the world as he cannot leave his room to do any errands whatsoever. “It feels like living in a more luxurious prison cell right now.” It’s only needed for a month until his medical benefits kick in, in which he will graciously return it.

Items Granted!

  • 10×10 Tarp (or larger) – for an unhoused friend living in the woods to cover his tent Thanks Community Threads!
  • Space Heater – for my garage where I sort all the clothes! It’s freezing in there now! 😭 Thanks Alexis!!
  • 4XL Jacket – for a guy in a wheelchair that lives on the streets (He currently has a 3XL one but he can’t zip it up!) – Thanks RGS Title!
  • Air Mattress – Thanks Maxine!
  • Men’s Bike – transportation for an unhoused friend – Thanks Maxine!!
  • Portable electric grill/George Foreman – so an unhoused friend can cook lunches/dinners outside! – Thanks Provisions!!
  • Hand Trucks – tomove tubs easier 🙂 – Thanks Jax and Alacia!
  • Prosthetic Leg (Right) – Incredibly enough, we found a home for this!! Thanks Connie!
  • Heavy Duty Convertible Hand Truck – so we can more easily move tubs back and forth between events! – Thanks Cynthia R. and Anonymous!!
  • Folding Table – for our new storage unit Thank you Denise W.!
  • Tall Standing Mirror – for our new storage unit pop ups! Doesn’t have to be fancy… Thank you Anonymous!!
  • Video Game Console + Games – for Micah’s Respite House! Where our sick unhoused neighbors go to recover. They’re often stuck there without much entertainment, and recent guests have mentioned how much they’d love to play video games! Thank you Kristen D. and Sage Mantis Game Haven!! We got them covered with multiple systems and games now 👊
  • Small Fridge – for a guy sharing a trailer without a fridge Thank you Jess T.!!
